U.S.-Iran Tensions Escalate

Throughout his campaign, President Donald Trump railed against bad deals that the American government made with foreign adversaries. Now that his healthcare reform appears to be on life support, he may turn his attention to another campaign promise: reversing the US-Iran deal. Iran again appears to be overstepping its boundaries, this time meddling in post-war Iraq. After supporting the insurgency against ISIS in the country, Iran has infiltrated the Iraqi government with leaders who are sympathetic to Iran at best and Iranian puppets at worst.
