New Chief of Staff Sworn In for Mike Pence

Vice President Mike Pence was celebrating a new chief of staff who was sworn in on Friday. Nick Ayers will start his new position in the White House on Tuesday, according to newspapers. Little was heard about the new position because it was shadowed by the White House chief of staff Reince Preibus’ resignation. With all of the changes still rolling out of the Oval Office, Ayers’ joining the team wasn’t a big focus over the weekend. The vice president’s office announced that Ayers would be brought on board in late June. Pence and Ayers have a long-standing relationship and they’re in an inner circle.
