Knife Attack in Hamburg Committed by Known Radical

Over the weekend a 26-year-old man killed one person and wounded five other victims with a knife that he yielded in a shopping market in Hamburg. Little is known about his motivations but German police said they had recently identified the man as an Islamist radical. The man is a Palestinian who was born in the United Arab Emirates. He was later described as having severe psychological issues. His name has yet to be released days after the attack. Meanwhile, numerous vigils have been set up around the marketplace where Germans are paying homage to the fallen victim as they await answers to questions about the attack.
